The group--especially Kathy Hansen-Adams--was also instrumental in getting Vromans to schedule an event for us on November 12 where a standing-room-only audience of about 50-60 people discovered we don't just talk about the ills of the world as Hector drummed, told a story, had people laughing and singing a song from Burkina Faso.
November 11 we were at Village Books in Pacific Palisades, thanks to Ulis and Sandra Sunshine Williams. (Seen below thanks to the camera of Carol Gomez.) And I just haven't had a chance to post anything about it. There we enjoyed debate, wine, fuji apples, and baked goodies and as a nice surprise my cousins -- Richard Reynolds and Michele Anderson--joined us.
